HONOUR KILLING in the name of saving family prestige is on the rise. It is not only a legal crime but also a social crime. Awareness is required now to uproot this belief.
Every life is a flower and has a right to live. The castes and the aristocratic feelings are manmade egos. The caste system was introduced to segregate the society on work basis and has nothing to do with human values. it was meant to organise the society to identify a person. There ends it purpose. It was introduced not to degenerate or degrade a person or a family. It is purely based on the profession.
The leaders of religions, specially the Hindu religion should come forward to break this feeling which has become a stigma. Due to poverty, education did not spread as a result those who had money got educated more and had thrown a barrier and named them as cast. It has not been supported by the basics of human dignity, therefore need not be glorified.
Honour killings are being repeated time and again. Ministries are passing the blame on each other. While it is the duty of the Social Justice and empowerment ministry to highlight the issue and raise public conscience, it is quietly passing the buck to Law ministry to take legal action.
Can not the ministers not take up a war on this issue, raise a debate and create public awareness. Is it not their duty to make people more considerate against this type of social crimes and make people understand that such barbaric acts are crime not only against law, but also to mankind?

Ukrainian wife tortured by Indian man wants to go home
IT IS great pity that a Ukrainian lady loved a man, an Indian doctor from the land of love, India. Got attracted and came to India to start her life. A bee attracted by the honey of love came to this flower land of India. After being battered by her husband, neglected by her in-laws and after getting no support from society and dejected, she wants to go back to her homeland Ukraine.
We can’t allow her to suffer for no fault of hers. It is needless to say that the act of her husband is not only shameful but also against the basic law of Hinduism where it is the duty of the husband to provide ‘roti kapra aur makan (fooding, clothing and lodging)’ to his wife whom he has accepted as his other half.
Here, the male doctor has additional responsibilities as he has married a girl from another country where, we Indians hold a highly respected position for our human value. To keep it up, now our first and foremost duty will be to desist her from leaving India and help her stay here with dignity love, honour, happiness and peace.
The society should prevail on the husband to perform his duty which he had promised while uttering the sacred mantras of marriage. If he is not willing he must be brought to book by due process of law.

Vandalism in the name of Naxalism
I am stunned hurt by the incident of Dantewada. So long in every instance I have tried to fight for these Naxalbari comrades trying people to justify their stand. I treated them as educated polished and justifiable young man of India. I always kept in mind that their action was for the poor people who are oppressed and for whom they are protector for oppression. Every time they have kidnapped I have supported the act telling there was some justifiable reason. I have always tried to convince the readers that our comrades are kind heated but highly motivated elite youth of the country.
Today I feel humiliated by their acts. I feel now whether I am betraying my country my people for trying to justify these motivated youth who are now acting like hooligans. I demand Kishenji to come out with statement justifying killing innocent people? Is it that because police took human shield to transfer them that they could do this barbaric acts. The bus could have been stopped cleared of innocent people and then police could have been taken hostage if they surrendered? After Naxalbari movement never wanted to harm unarmed helpless enemies.
Because of this gruesome cold blooded murder of innocent civilians without any thinking the philosophy of Naxalbari movement stand vindicated. I am sorry to state but I must say now I would like to call you a terrorist and the entire acts of you as terrorism and advise you to surrender unconditionally taking the blame in your own shoulder as you have failed miserably to defend the poor people for whom this movement was meant.
